"Something Really Bad"

I just thought of a cute thing to share...

Last night Jake was supposed to be getting ready after his bath. He was in the bathroom but being unusually quiet. Finally after repeated attempts, I got him to answer my, "Jake what are you doing?" His response, "I'm not going to tell you." I've heard this a few times over the last month. I asked, "Why, what are you doing?" To that he says, "Something really bad." Interesting that he thought it was OK to tell me he was doing something REALLY bad, but couldn't tell me what that was. My brain was whirling and then I remembered... "Jake are you eating your Dots?" His reply, "Yes."

I had to laugh to myself. My really bad is when he tries to feed Ben uncooked rice or throws his tractors in his brother's direction. His really bad...eating Dots that his mom said he couldn't have.

Hello All,

I really enjoy reading everyone's blogs, so here goes. I'll try my best to update, but I hardly find time to get my required chores done, so it might take me a while.

Ben is now 6 months old. My how time flys. I can easily remember lieing on the couch at my parents this summer wondering if bedrest would ever come to an end. And now...6 months old already.

Jake is 3 and pretty much runs the house. I really can't imagine what it will be like when he's 10 or 16 and has even stronger opinions than he has now! He's doing really good. He had tubes put in on January 21st and had his aednoid removed. It seems to have helped him a ton.

We are all looking forward to warmer weather.

Here's a recent picture of the boys.
